Royal Caribbean has revealed its latest cruise, the Icon of the Seas, making it the ultimate family holiday.

Arriving in late 2023 ahead of its January 2024 debut, the first Icon Class ship is the first of its kind in the travel industry.

The ship is the perfect holiday for any type of family and adventurer. Whether a beach vacation or a theme park adventure, the boat has something for everyone.

Holidaymakers can book their iconic adventure on Royal Caribbean’s website on Tuesday, 25 October. If you’re a Crown & Anchor loyalty member, you can get special access on Monday, 24 October.

“From the moment they [passengers] step on board, every experience is specifically designed to give them the best vacation anywhere on land and at sea. With Icon of the Seas, we’ve taken this to a new level and made the ultimate family vacation”, said Jason Liberty, President, and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group.

Whether you want to book a holiday as a family, couple, or friends, the new cruise ship offers a range of firsts and next-level favorites for everyone.

So, what will this new Royal Caribbean cruise ship look like?

The ship has eight new neighborhoods that will come alive day and night, including five new adventures and three bold, returning favorites.

Each neighborhood is a destination in and of itself filled with a variety of experiences.

The five new neighborhoods are:

Thrill Island

This neighborhood is for thrill seekers. Home to Category 6, with six record-breaking slides, children and adults alike can spend their days having fun at the largest waterpark at sea.

Crown’s Edge is also a new addition. Part skywalk, part ropes course, and part thrill ride, it will see travelers swing 154 feet above the ocean!

Chill Island

As the name suggests, this neighborhood is for those who want to chill out. Among the seven pools on the ship, four are in this three-deck neighborhood.

A pool for every mood, with exceptional ocean views and swim-up bars, there is so much to love about Chill Island.

Surfside

This new neighborhood is made for young families, where adults and kids aged six and under will want to stay and play all day.

Adults can relax in the Water’s Edge pool while watching the kids have fun at Splashaway Bay and Baby Bay.

The Hideaway

Tucked away 135 feet above the sea, this neighborhood is home to the first suspended infinity pool at sea.

Surrounded by a multilevel sun terrace with whirlpools and a dedicated bar, this new neighborhood is bound to be a favorite.

AquaDome

With so much exciting new neighborhoods, facilities, and things to do, Icon of the Sea is a cruise you’ll want to experience.
